BMA Members and Friends:
It is with mixed emotions that I announce to you the transition of two of our incredible staff members here at the BMA. First, we are excited to announce that the BMA’s Director of Education, Ms. Janine Spinola Taylor, and our Coordinator of Teen Cafés and Summer Employment, Rev. Darcia Parham, will be moving on to bigger and better things. However, this also means that they will be leaving us.
Prof. Spinola Taylor, who is finishing up her doctoral work, has joined the faculty of Springfield College as a Professor in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies. In addition to teaching and advising, she will be restructuring the college’s Master of Science in Organization Leadership and Management Program.
Rev. Parham, who received her Master in Divinity degree last year at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, gave an address at the school’s Baccalaureate Ceremony, while serving as an associate minister at Peoples Baptist Church, is exploring ministry and employment opportunities in the Chicago area.
Mr. Henry Paige, who holds a Master of Education degree and is currently pursuing a second masters degree at Dartmouth College, will serve as the interim Director of Education. Mr. Paige has taught in Boston Public Schools and has done consulting to Victory Generation in the past.
Rev. Sharyn Halliday will serve as the new Coordinator of Teen Cafés and Summer Employment. Rev. Halliday comes with extensive youth ministry skills and corporate/financial experience.
These transitions will be effective as of August 1, 2015. For additional information, please contact Annette Campbell at the BMA.
